Improving Low Proficiency ESL Primary School Students’ Writing Skills using Flipped Classroom

There are many new approaches of teaching and learning in current classrooms. One them is flipped classroom - a means instruction which students learn input during the out-of-class period through electronic tools. Nevertheless, it interesting to note that writing skills has not been significantly utilised classroom. This paper reports on study explores use enhance low proficiency ESL primary school students’ skills. Employing action research approach, data were collected pre post-test, semi-structured interview questionnaires. The findings depict scored higher marks for post-test task compared pre-test. from questionnaire shown pupils favour skill approach their improved this approach. reveal intervention proved be effective order improve simple sentence construction. proven implementation pupils’ boost confidence enhancing especially English language.
